Verification Tiers
Every listing in our directory receives one of three verification statuses:
- Featured: Organizations that have completed our enhanced verification process and maintain active listings with detailed profiles
- Verified: Organizations whose services, credentials, and website information have been editorially verified
- Unverified: Organizations listed based on publicly available information, pending full editorial review
Ranking Factors
Listings are ordered based on a combination of objective factors:
- Verification status: Featured and verified listings appear above unverified listings
- Relevance: How well the provider's services match the user's selected filters
- Completeness: Listings with more detailed profiles and certifications rank higher
- User engagement: Listings that receive more profile views and inquiries may rank higher over time
Commercial Relationships
AI Act Compass may receive referral fees from listed consultants who subscribe to premium or featured listings. This commercial relationship is always disclosed. Paid listings receive enhanced visibility (e.g., larger profiles, priority placement) but our editorial descriptions and rankings are never influenced by payment status. We clearly label all paid listings.
